The Ansmann KFZ Power Check is designed to check the condition of the battery, alternator and starting ability of 12V car and motorcycle batteries.
The battery tester has the following functions:
1. Test Vehicle alternator for under or overcharge both of which can cause permanent battery damage and premature failure.
2. Test the batteries charge state and indicate a 0-25%, 25-75% or 75-100% charge
3. The battery power test will indicate the condition of the battery under load helping you determine if the battery is faulty and in need of replacement.
4. The Ansmann KFZ Power Check can also be used to monitor the charge process when using external chargers helping you to turn the external charger off before the battery is damaged through being overcharged.

Don't throw your batteries away without testing them first! With this simple to use and effective battery tester, you can quickly test all sizes of common household batteries. The tester works with AA, AAA, C, D and 9V batteries, irrespective of whether they are rechargeable or pre-charged. The needle gauge will accurately indicate whether the battery is "good", "weak", or needs to be replaced.
The unit operates using a spring loaded action. Place the battery in the holder and gently squeeze the tester and the needle gauge tells you the batteries' condition. Simple.
