A 9 volt PP3 lithium battery which can be used in smoke detectors and remote controls. Will last about 4 or 5 times as long as the same alkaline battery but only costs twice as much as an alkaline PP3.

The PP3 size battery is also known by the codes: PP3, K9V, KA9, BLOC, LR22, MN1604, CLR6, ND65V, 1604AU, 6LR61, 9V, X22, 1604, 4022, 6F22, 0068, A1604. The Ultralife lithium PP3 battery would be a suitable longer lasting replacement battery for any of these.
